Robert Davison was born at the Leazes, Stanley, County Durham, England on September 3rd 1939.  After serving his apprenticeship as a draughtsman, he moved to Schwarazach in Austria in 1962, to work and returning to England in late 1963. He was also a self-taught musician and could play the organ, guitar, tin flute, accordion and Bodhram (Irish) drum while building his own flutes and drums. He will be most remembered for his kindness, gentleness and willingness to help anyone. He is also survived by his brother James Davison of Croydon, Surrey, UK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
